I just got a brand new media player and I hooked it up to my used TV and the anything from the media player will only play in black and white. I know it’s not the TV, even though it’s new to me, because I was playing DVDs on it already. And I don’t see what else it could be. It’s a Real Movie HD media center.

Check the settings of the player is it set to the American nstc and not pal and trying to use it on a Uk pal tv.

I don’t want to uninstall windows media player. I use MediaMonkey to play music. But when MediaMonkey is in tray and I press the Media Play/Pause button, Windows Media Player also opens (even if MediaMonkey is already open in tray). Maybe this is some setting in Windows Media Player?

I noticed that Windows Media Player if MediaMonkey is a desktop window, only if it’s in tray.

Simply Click on MYCOMPUTER or open your C:\ Drive and click on Tools-Folder Options-File Types- & Select file extension which you want to open with MediaMonkey instead of Media Player, I mean to say that for example you wants to open you .wma (mysons.wma) file to MediaMonkey. Than simply press w one time and found .WMA extension and Click on CHANGE BUTTON and select YOUR MEDIAMONKEY AND ALSO TICK ON (ALWAYS USE THE SELECTED PROGRAM TO OPEN THIS KIND OF FILE) after click this TICK BUTTON. Your .wma file automatically open with MediaMonkey, You can do the same with all your MEDIA VIDEO/AUDIO File same.

Other you can also simply right click on your Media File and select Open With & Select MediaMonkey and TICK (ALWAYS USE THE SELECTED PROGRAM TO OPEN THIS KIND OF FILE) Tick Button, this will also do the same as above given instruction.
