How do I get windows media player in windows 7 to play music properly?
Ok, so I’m trying to listen to some music through Windows Media Player in the newly installed Windows 7 OS. Yesterday it worked fine, but today it plays about 5 seconds of music then stops for about 10 seconds before playing another 5 second snippet so on & so on.
Has anyone else out there had this problem?
If so how did you fix it?
Windows Media Player reports your music to Microsoft, who might have detected it’s pirated or something.
Use the free VLC instead, or use iTunes.

How to stop windows media player messing up my music?
What i want is my music to stay in the order its in, in my music folder. Not separated into stupid separate albums with 1 song in. I have about 250 albums each in there own folder and another folder full of random drum & bass. I want windows media player or a media player that will order the albums like my music folder in my documents. I f you get what one means.
It should show at the bottom that it is searching. If you have a lot of media it will probably take a while. Just curious, why didn’t you add your music folders to the music library in Windows 7 instead of moving all of the music from the Vista drive to the Windows 7 drive?
