This segment features Jonathan Blank, Capgemini.

Jonathan is an Assistant Director of External Communications at Capgemini, a global consulting, technology and outsourcing firm. In this role, he is responsible for managing marketing and communications for the technology services business unit. In addition, he leads the new media strategy for all business units in the North America region. He has worked on both the corporate and agency side in public relations and has cross-functional experience in direct marketing and internal communications.

For years Jonathan has sought to give back to the marketing community by helping to translate the best practices in social media pioneered by B2C firms to the world of B2B. With a degree in Indus- trial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, Jonathan has long believed business is more about people to people relationships than corporate positioning. He previously ran a company dedicated to personal branding called Fill in the Blank Branding.

Finally, Jonathan performs improv comedy throughout New York City, strongly influencing his “this is not that serious” attitude and his view that marketing, public relations and social media all comes down to good storytelling.
