    Good tutorial, except that I wouldn’t recommend media player to rip mp3’s. Its proprietary Microsoft codec is not the best available today. LAME encoder is considered the most optimal by audio professionals and for some reason media player does not use this one. That’s why more than 99% of audio ripping today is done by rippers using LAME to result in much better mp3’s.
