When I called Sony …
When I called Sony tech support. They said that all the xbox 360 and ps3 games are made and played in 720p. The game disk package box may say 1080p but sony said that the only time you will see 1080 is in stills or cut scenes in the game.. The game play is 720p. If you set the ps3 video output to 1080p then the ps3 will just do a upconvert like what happens when you play a standard def. dvd.

some people should just shut the up. these consoles are just for the entertainment of the people. nothings perfect. xbl is better than psn but 360 has problems alot. people are acting like these consoles are there life. i assuming that ps2 had fun exclusives that xbox didn’t get, but do we care about those consoles now. just cause 360 doesn’t have M.A.G. or the incredible graphics of ff verses 13 doesn’t mean you shoud get upset. your con’s for the xbox 360 are like crap i have owned my elite for two years and my fan is as quite as it was the day i opend it and turned it on and i haven’t a clue what the red eye of death is and it hasn’t ever stopped reading any of my disks or games and it hasn’t ever scratched it. The console wars …
The console wars are over. It’s a Tie. If you are looking for heavy duty gaming go for xbox 360 and don’t care about money. If you care about money and graphics go for playstation. I perfer both so you can play all the exclusives and see all the features.
