CDs are a hassle when it comes to managing what’s on them. If the CD isn’t rewritable(R/W), then there’s no altering the song list on it. If it is R/W, then you can rearrange the song list. You need to delete everything on the CD and then burn the correct list to the CD. You’ll have to wait until tomorrow to view my link. Wikipedia’s down in protest of SOPA today.

One of the best pieces of software for making and burning Lightscribe covers is on the Lightscribe site but undocumented. They used to give a version of Surething – http://www.surething.com/ – software away on the site. They’ve removed all reference to it but never removed the software. You can download it from http://www.lightscribe.com/files/setup.zip

I found much better than the offical Lightscribe software. Once you’ve designed your cover just press Print.

Yes you can – its just an image file.

You can save anything to a CD / DVD providing when it is opened, it does not need writing too.

You have to understand that Brand names mean very little for low-end consumer items. Yes, SONY has probably stricter specs and QA procedures, but the discs may be made in the same factory that does Maxells.

Go to this website.

Click "Download now" from your mobile phone.

If mobile phone support java, use Opera Mini to view the site. (Almost all mobiles support Java)

Save the installer.exe[7MB approx] to your memory card.

Connect it to PC and Transfer the Codec.
Then you know how to install the codec to your PC.

To write viisualisation software from scratch you need a good grounding in maths, basically if you don’t know what a Fast Fourier Transform is, then best not go there!

If you are interested in writing visualisations then I would suggest you download Winamp and have a look at the Milkdrop and AVS visualisations..
