In my opinion, I think they will be around for awhile. I see quad cores like I do 64bit OS. If you have an app that can use it you will see the benefits; audio/video encoding and some games (even they don’t see much of an improvement on most compared to a good dual core). But for just gaming I think a dual core will serve it’s purpose for awhile until they can make the jump from a dual core to quad core scale better optimizing the game code for better use of all four cores.

The screens were a 22inch Dell and 24 dell utrasharp 2408WFP, I was trying them both out to see if double the cost was worth jumping from the 22TN panel to the 24 PVA panel,….. and it is I sold the 22inch for the exact same price I paid for it (less than a month old with all original packaging). since i did i miss having that much screen space even if they weren’t even, i loved it. The keyboard is a Saitek Eclipse keyboard i bought from circuit city.

hey, nice. I have a gaming computer too. I got it last year. It costs $2000, and its awsome. I love ur setup too. I just have 2 questions. My first one is, is it that practicle to have 2 different screens, and screen sizes on one computer. U know, does it look a little odd. And the other one is how much does that keyboard cost, and what model #? It looks sooooooooooo sick. I really want it. Awsome setup

    1st your right …
1st your right about the desk :) ran out of money. I’ve read reviews about it with a couple of problems (red tint, input lag, over colour saturation) but bought it anyway. Went from a Dell 19 CRT Trinitron and wouldn’t go back to it no matter what. Can’t compare it to other 24″s cuase I don’t have them…. but I love this thing. As long as you don’t use it for professional printing etc. or like a hardcore FPS where 1 frame means you live or die and you can’t sleep if you die.

  23. FrodeFlodhest Says:

You should change your desk, cause it doesn’t look comfortable. At least it doesn’t look like that to me. =P

What do you think of your Dell 2408WFP monitor? I’m thinking about bying the same monitor. Much bacause of it’s cheap and a good 24inch monitor. Would you recommend it? =)

    Nice rig! =)
