I wanted to give you a quick look at what this looks like befor I change anything and maybe even get some feedback from you on wheather or not I should paint the exterior.
@bastec666 I did … @bastec666 I did move it to the bottom. Thank you for the suggestion.
I ended up selling this rig. It wasn’t powerful enough for me, I am a PC gamer.
great little setup. … great little setup. if you still have it, move the hard drive to the bottom of the case, it will move the cables down and make it look more “flush”. other then that great job on cable management.
I like the way it … I like the way it looks. I don’t like the hard drive cage though. If you not gonna put any large GPUs in there in will be OK. Modding the side to fit a 120mm fan wouldn’t be hard. Looks like a decent case. I bought this as an experimental modding case. You can see the end result in one of oher videos.
How would you … How would you compare this to the 342. I only use one hard drive in the bottom bay and one in the 5.25 bay with a cooler, so I wouldn’t need all that space for drives in the 342.
I like the 342’s styling more but the optional 120mm on the sides are really a plus on this one.
Yes I would just as … Yes I would just as long as you don’t have the hard drive in the bottom. I thought about putting on of my GTX 260s in there to see how well it would do on games. This is a very quiet case.
cool i went with a … cool i went with a antec 300 and a rosewill filter 3 cooler master fans and a corsair 650tx but i am gona go with antec fans bcuz the cooler master dont pus a nof air i am still working on buying parts kinda hard to get the money when your only 15 lol
the stock ports … the stock ports don’t come with a filter. I bought a 120mm mesh filter from frozen cpu to go behind the side grill. You can see it on my latest video. The grill is a Black Gears Grill and the mesh is silver.
Thanks, I didn’t … Thanks, I didn’t want anything over the top so I went with AMD processor and an ATI GPU.
This is the Cooler Master Elite 341. Nice little case with lots of options for quiet cooling. (3×120mm fans)
No, it’s as far … No, it’s as far forward as it’ll go. If you mount the HDD on the bottom bracket it will be out of the way. I mounted mine there because I didn’t want to run another power cord to the bottom. Maybe I’ll try it and see how it looks when I get it back together. Thanks for watching.
I’m thinking of … I’m thinking of going with a 4670. It has the same amount of Stream Processors(320) and it has a lower power requirement & it’s fan-less. I will have 3 120mm fans in this tiny case. One of them will be pointed at the GPU.
id go with a hd3870 … id go with a hd3870 graphics card for your media pc, it supports all the hd formats thats out today and it has a max res of 2560×1600 its ok for playing games aswell i think it would fit well in that case as its single slot solution 0i just took mine out for an upgrade
get great case. I … get great case. I was thinking of getting this case for a rebuild of one of my office computers. can the hard drive go a little further toward the front of the case?
