Download VirtualDub … Download VirtualDub, it’s free. Open your file up in it or drag n drop. Under the “Video” tab click “Compression”. Click the Xvid MPEG-4 Codec then hit OK. Under the “File” tab click “Save as AVI”, that’s it.

One question though… How can I get this quality and shrink the file size… for example im trying to upload a 7 minute video… And the file size is HUGE. Itll take probably half a day to one day to upload… Sugggestions??

I’m currently trying to find an encoder that works for the very annoying youtube site. . . nearly every format doesn’t work in youtube which is annoying – flv doesn’t work often, and wmv give the sound out of sync… what do you reccommend?
