i’ll just say no, to save you any trouble. some people can get it working, some people can’t. i get it working on my laptop with win7, but my desktop pc did work, then after deleting the certs and drivers off the comp, it wouldnt connect, even after reinstalling windows 4 times and updating the os. resetting the dma to the defaults each time. Xbox360 and ps3 are far better options. considering a user can delete your movies from ur pc using the dma, it’s too risky to let people use.
Hello, Thanks this … Hello, Thanks this is a great review. Do you know if I can use this to stream media from a Windows XP host sharing photos, movies, music etc through Windows Media Player 11? It’s for my parents and they don’t have Vista on their main PC or a MCE pc. Thanks!
I have HTPC with … I have HTPC with Media Center. My question is, what affect will this have on my PC. Does the DMA act as a remote or does it just stream content, meaning If I were watching TV via Media Center, and someone wanted to watch a movie on DMA via Media Center, will I have to watch the same thing?
